Lying Down Hamstring Stretch

To begin this stretch:

  • Lie down on your back with your arms at your side and your knees bent at about a 90 degrees angle.

To stretch:

  • Lift the leg straight up.
  • With the hand on the same side as the leg being raised, grab the leg above the knee.
  • With the opposite arm grab your leg below the knee.
  • Pull back slowly until you feel a slight discomfort.
